Clement - supposedly the 4^th bishop of Rome (3^rd after Peter), wrote a letter in 95-6 to the church in Corinth - they had driven their bishop/pastors out of town and Clement “bawls them out”for doing so  - talks how Paul traveled from Rome to Spain on a missionary journey and about the great number of martyrs (men, women and children) who died under Nero
